The Council has been approached by Western Power Distribution who would like to install a second electricity substation next to the existing one at Mallows Grange. This is needed because the increasing demand for electricity and the expected increase of domestic car charging points.

The Parish Council supports the proposal in principle as it is in tune with the Council's Green Strategy. A map showing the proposal can be found with the agenda and meeting papers for the council meeting held 17th March 2022.
