The Parish Council deplores the humanitarian crisis that is unfolding in Ukraine.
Members of the public can donate through official channels, such as the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal (https://www.dec.org.uk/appeal/ukraine-humanitarian-appeal) or the British Red Cross (https://www.redcross.org.uk) to contribute to the efforts to ease the suffering.
DEC charities are making a difference. DEC member charities bring essential aid including food, water, shelter, blankets, and medical assistance to those in need. But with the UN estimating that as many as 4 million people could become displaced due to the conflict, more help is still needed.
