North Northamptonshire Council have determined that scheme cannot proceed on the basis of 'permitted development rights'. 

This means that for the plan to erect a 5G mast at the junction of Wetenhall Road and Raunds Road to proceed full planning consent would be required.

The decision was made on the basis that the mast would cause harm to the character and appearance of the locality and this harm outweighs the benefits of the mast.
