About Parish Councils

Town and Parish Councils are the first tier of Local Government and we operate along side Northants County Council and East Northants Council. Stanwick Parish Council serves the community, residents, tax payers and electors having been elected to represent you.

All councils are governed by laws and have powers and duties.

Parish Elections are coming....

In May 2020 the present members of Stanwick Parish Council will be obliged to stand down as it will be election time again*.

Could you be a councillor?
